Should you get the HERO or upscale to a 3 or 4? By: DD "dd", on January 22, 2015 Pros: Cons: "I decided to go for the HERO rather than a HERO 3 or 4 because my basic needs aren't all that demanding. Plus, even if you later decide "I wish I'd gone for a 3 or 4", you still have a good backup HERO and have the chance of catching a second or third angle for your footage. I knew I wouldn't use it every day, not even every week, so the WiFi wasn't important. I didn't mind that I'd have to remove the microSD card to get the media from it (and still don't).
